Process Engineer

Location

Plant of Bruzolo (TO) Italy.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of brake pad manufacturing processes and will be responsible for optimizing and continuously improving these processes. The Process Engineer will work closely with production, quality, and R&D teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

He/She will be in charge of:

Analyze and optimize brake pad manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.

Develop and implement new production technologies and methodologies.

Monitor and control process parameters to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Troubleshoot technical issues related to production processes.

Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new materials and formulations.

Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related disciplines.

Proven experience of at least 5 years in the brake pad manufacturing industry.

In-depth knowledge of sintering, molding, and coating processes.

Proficiency in using data analysis tools and simulation software.

Problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of quality and safety regulations in the automotive sector.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Ability to draft technical specifications for suppliers.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to co-design with equipment suppliers.

Fluent in both Italian and English

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems Knowledge of CAD software.
