BRAKE ACTUATORS
The new off-highway brake actuator product line includes a range of hydraulic brake boosters, power valves, and a trailer brake valve compliant with RVBR and ASABE S648-5. The product range is designed to address the future needs of off-highway applications where autonomous operation and advanced safety systems play an increasing role. All booster and power valve products include the option to interface with electronic control systems. And the new trailer brake valve is primarily electro-hydraulic in order to fully meet the EU2015/68 performance requirements.
The Raicam brake actuator product range follows a modular design philosophy to accelerate application development and minimize unique tooling requirements. And Raicam can provide brackets to adapt to existing mounting schemes where necessary.
Brake Master Cylinder
Raicam brake master cylinders benefit from years of automotive experience with the highest levels of quality. These master cylinders are ideal for brake systems requiring smaller volumes or as pilot inputs to brake relay valves.
BOOSTED BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS
The brake booster range includes single, quick-fill, tandem and twin configurations. Boost ratios range from 3.6:1 up to 8.1:1 with brake piston diameters from 25.4mm to 42mm. Other sizes can be developed to suit specific applications.
Power Valve
Raicam’s family of power valves includes single and tandem variants and options for hydraulic and electro-hydraulic piloting. These valves are designed from the start to be compact, flexible, and easily integrated with advanced vehicle control systems.
Electro-hydraulic Trailer Brake Valve
The electro hydraulic trailer brake valve is compliant with the RVBR and ASABE S648-5, and includes options for mechanical or hydraulic control of the SL circuit in the case of CL faults. Brake control is always available to the operator.
